The group in charge of last year's 100th anniversary of flight celebration has broken even, after creditors forgave about three (m) million dollars in debt. Inventing Flight chairman Brad Tillson says the 17-day festival honoring the Wright brothers ended five (m) million dollars in the red. But he says they were able to raise another one-point-six (m) million dollars in donations and cashed out 400-thousand dollars in assets. Final figures show Inventing flight spent 20-point-five (m) million dollars between 1998 and 2003. That includes last year's celebration and other related programs and events. A Wright State study assessing the celebration's economic impact on the Dayton area is due out next week.
