CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - New Year's Eve is one of the busiest days for donations at Goodwill. It's that last day to get a tax deduction for the year.
Goodwill officials said the Woodlawn store averages 200 carloads per day, but saw about 500 carloads of donations last New Year's Eve.
Ohio Valley Goodwill had all 30 donation sites open on Monday to collect last minute donations.
The non-profit needs to average 800,000 pounds of donations every month in order to fund services for homeless veterans and people with disabilities.
