The UC basketball team used a big second half to win its Big East opener at Pittsburgh, 70-61.
Down 8 at the half, the Bearcats outscored the Panthers by 17 points the final 20 minutes to improve to 13-1 this season.
Cashmere Wright led UC with 18 points and Sean Kilpatrick added 16. David Nyarsuk scored 6 big points off the bench and keyed UC's second half surge.
Pittsburgh missed all ten of its three-point attempts.
UC plays its first conference home game Saturday against St. John's.
