A Rumpke truck driver was taken to the hospital after his recycling truck overturned Wednesday morning in Forest Park.
It happened at around 8 a.m. on the westbound Interstate 275 Winton Road exit ramp.
The driver was taken to Mercy Fairfield Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident temporarily caused a traffic back up, but the scene is now clear and traffic is flowing normally again.
“We would like to extend our thoughts to our driver and
wish him a speedy recovery,” said Skip Holderbaum, Rumpke safety supervisor.
“We appreciate the quick response from the local authorities.”
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
