Man accused of threatening couple with knife, damaging police interview room

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Woodlawn man is facing several charges after police say he threatening a couple with a knife, then damaged the police interrogation room after his arrest.

James Foster, 40, is charged with felonious assault and vandalism.

According to Hamilton County court documents, Foster held a large knife to the back of a man's neck and caused serious injuries to the back of his head. When the man's wife attempted to stop Foster, he allegedly cut her in the lower arm with the blade of the knife.

After Foster was arrested, he was taken to the Woodlawn Police Department, where he kicked two large holes in the interview room.

Foster is being held on a $120,000 bond at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
