CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
A celebration ceremony was held in honor of a young mother killed on Christmas Day.
20-year-old Kyila Shields was shot and killed at a home on Penrose Place in Westwood.
The Kyila Shields Home Going Celebration was held on Thursday at the Memorial Baptist Church, located at 527 Clerk Street.
Family and friends gathered for a visitation at 10 a.m., followed by the memorial service at noon.
Shields was then laid to rest at the Spring Grove Cemetery on Spring Grove Avenue.
