COLUMBIA TUSCULUM, OH (FOX19) - Emergency crews were called to a fatal construction accident in Columbia-Tusculum on Thursday.
It happened at a residential construction site, located at the intersection of Handman Avenue and Strafer Street around 2:30 p.m.
Authorities on scene revealed a construction worker was on the site of a future townhome, standing on a floorboard on the second floor. He reportedly fell to the basement level and was killed from his injuries.
Multiple workers were on the site at the time, but no one witnessed the fall.
Police tell us the victim was in his mid-40's.
His name has not yet been released.
