TAYLOR MILL, KY (FOX19) -
Scott High school is doing their part to support our troops
with the 'Scott Cares' program.
The program includes raising money to send care packages
and support letters to soldiers who are serving overseas.
Organizers say it started as an English class assignment, with Scott High School students writing letters of support to the soldiers.
Now, the students fundraise and help fill care packages for members of the military, in addition to sending letters.
Later this month, students will get a visit from some of the
soldiers they have been writing to.
