HEBRON, KY (FOX19) -
A car and a school bus collided Tuesday morning in Boone County.
It happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of North Bend Road and Southpark Drive in Hebron. The bus was carrying 17 students from Conner Middle and High Schools. No one was hurt.
The Boone County Sheriff's Office says Gregory Clayton, 56, of Burlington was driving school bus #235 southbound on North Bend Road when he started a left turn onto Southpark Drive in the path of Dustin Baker, 16, of Burlington, who was driving a 1998 Chevy Lumina northbound. Baker's Lumina struck the bus in the right rear axle. He refused treatment at the scene.
Conner School authorities
sent another bus to the scene and transported the 17 students to the school
where they were checked out by the nurse and parents were notified.
