The exotic dancer critically injured after falling from a balcony at Christie's Cabaret in Cleveland has died.

The family of Lauren Block made the announcement on Wednesday morning.

From the family of Lauren Block:

We would like to thank the community for their outpouring of support and prayers for Lauren. She has passed away but is an organ donor, and we hope this will enable her to save many lives and live on through others. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at MetroHealth. They worked tirelessly to do all they could to save her life. We ask that the media respect our privacy during this difficult time. We know that she's in God's hands.

The 22-year-old dancer was injured last week while performing a dance.

A witness told police that he was receiving a lap dance from Block, when she grabbed the rail.

The witness said that as the 22-year-old woman tried to complete some sort of dance move, she accidentally went head first over the rail of the balcony.
