VERY cold today. Temps will reach the middle and upper teens this afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds.
Wind chill temps will still be the focus moving into the end of the work week, feeling like the single digits through the day with a 5-15 mph breeze.
Tonight will be frigid. Temps in the low teens with wind chills approaching the 0° mark.
Friday will be quiet: dry and partly cloudy but cold.
We're on track to see the arrival of snow showers Friday night into Saturday morning. A surge of moisture and energy will bring snow showers in by 2 a.m. You will likely wake up to snow during the morning hours with snowfall - steady at times - continuing into the afternoon. Total snow accumulations will be in the 2" to 4" range with isolated areas up to 5" possible. Higher totals will depend on exactly where more persistent snow bands develop. Either way, several inches of snow possible means the snow shovels will get a workout!
