CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police are looking for the suspect in a robbery and cutting.
The incident happened in Over the Rhine, but the victim crossed Central Parkway and ended up at Vine Street Kafe, located on the first floor of Kroger Headquarters.
Police on the scene say the suspect stabbed another person with a knife he'd just bought at a nearby pawn shop.
Police believe the stabbing was in reaction to a disagreement between the two earlier in the morning.
The victim was taken to the hospital suffering from stab wounds to the stomach and arm. That person's name and condition have not been released, but the injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
The suspect is still at large. He's described as a male black, 5'11" and wearing a dark hooded jacket, gym shoes and New York Yankees hat. He followed the victim into the Kafe and was last seen fleeing the area on foot.
Kroger officials issued the following statement:
No Kroger employees or building tenants were involved in this morning's incident. The altercation was isolated and contained between two individuals. The fact is, the work of 3CDC and the City to develop and improve Over the Rhine for the past few years has contributed to a safer downtown environment.
