A motorcyclist from Boone County has been killed in a crash on Interstate 75 in Scott County, Ky.
The crash happened Wednesday, Jan. 9 at about 6:45 p.m. at mile marker 143, about 13 miles north of Georgetown.
Kentucky State Police says Max Calhoun, 56, of Union, was operating a 2005 Honda Goldwing northbound when he left the left side of the road and struck an embankment.
Calhoun was transported to Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Grant County, were he was pronounced dead.
He was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
