A veterans memorial will be rededicated later this week to update the list of soldiers killed through the most recent deaths in Iraq. The War Memorial Fountain at Veterans Memorial Plaza in Cleveland will now carry the name of every known Cuyahoga County service member killed in action since 1899. It will now feature the names of 5,506 servicemen and women. The fountain memorial was originally dedicated in 1964, and included the names of the county's war dead from World War Two and Korea. But a group of Vietnam veterans found 103 from World War Two and 25 from Korea who had not been named in 1964. So they started an effort to track down all the names. The rededication ceremony will be Friday.
