Buca di Beppo cutting ribbon on new Florence Mall location

FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) -

Boone County residents will soon be able to enjoy a new family-style Italian restaurant in Florence.

Officials will cut the ribbon on Buca di Beppo, opening on Monday in the Florence Mall.

The new restaurant will seat up to 220 guests and has brought 75 jobs to area.

Officials say the new location continues the traditions unique to Buca di Beppo chains, with signature quirky decor and generous family-style portions.

The ribbon cutting is scheduled for Monday at 12 p.m., at 2028 Florence Mall.

In addition, there will also be a 'Marinara Handprint ceremony', similar to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but with tomato sauce.
