HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

An 11-year-old boy has been sent to the hospital after being hit by a train.

Police located an-unnamed boy around 4:30 p.m. Saturday on Joe Nuxhall Boulevard.

The boy had a significant injury to his left leg. Police say the child indicated that he had been struck by a train.

The boy was taken to Children's Hospital. The injury is not believed to be life threatening.

The incident still remains under investigation.
