CRITTENDEN, KY (FOX19) - A man was taken into custody after an attempted robbery in Crittenden.
Leslie Collins, 44, was arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at the Total Care Pharmacy in Crittenden on Wednesday.
Kentucky State Police revealed that a male suspect entered the pharmacy around 3:15 p.m. and handed clerks a note demanding pills. According to authorities, the employees told him they were calling police, and he took off in a car.
Those on scene were able to get the license plate number. State Police and Grant County Sheriffs then found the car and arrested Collins a short time later.
Collins was charged with attempted robbery and taken to the Grant County Detention Center.
The incident remains under investigation.
