Halliburton reveals subpoenas related to Iraq, Iran

A former employee of Halliburton's engineering and construction division -- KBR -- has been subpoenaed by the Justice Department. The government is investigating possible overcharges by Halliburton in Iraq. The firm was previously headed by Dick Cheney. Federal prosecutors are also seeking documents from the Houston-based company regarding Iran. Trade with Iran is restricted by US sanctions, although the company says it believes it has fully complied with the law.
