The UC basketball team lost a 7 point lead in the final minutes and dropped its first road game of the season at Syracuse.
The Orange, ranked 3rd in the country, outscored UC 15-4 the final five minutes of the game. C.J. Fair tipped in the Syracuse game-winner with 14 seconds left.
Sean Kilpatrick lead the Bearcats with 23 points and UC finished with more made three-pointers (10) than two-point field goals (8).
Cashmere Wright played his first game since a minor knee injury at DePaul. Wright played 29 minutes and finished 2-13 from the field, including, missing a three-point attempt with 10 seconds left that would have given the Bearcats the lead.
UC's last road win against a top five team came in 1963.
