VERONA, KY (FOX19) - Funeral services have been planned for the victim killed and dismembered in Verona, KY last week.
Daniel Delfin, of Walton, was killed on January 14th. A visitation is planned for 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, and the funeral service at 2 p.m. A burial will follow at the New Bethel Cemetery.
Three men were arrested in Delfin's death, and charged with murder, kidnapping, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with physical evidence.
On January 15th, detectives were led to an undisclosed location in Verona, where they discovered the torso and some dismembered leg parts of a white man wrapped up and discarded in a field.
The next day, the victim was identified as Daniel Delfin. Officials believe the trio targeted Delfin because he was alleged to be a heroin dealer, and they wanted to "rid the world of evil."
Delfin was 19-years-old.
