MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

Two men were arrested after a traffic stop in Butler County.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers stopped a vehicle for failing to display a front license plate on SR 4, near milepost 23 just after noon on Wednesday.

Criminal indicators were observed and a Patrol drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle.

A probable cause search revealed 10 grams of heroin, four grams of crack cocaine, and three grams of powder cocaine.

The driver, Walter S. Johnson, 25, of Middletown, and passenger, Michael L. Hogans, 29, of Dayton, were incarcerated in the Middletown Jail and charged with trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony, and possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. If convicted they could each face up to six years in prison and up to a $12,500 fine.
