Order has been restored at a privately operated prison in Colorado, where inmates rioted and set fires. Ten inmates were hurt, and one living unit has been destroyed. Four other units and a greenhouse sustained extensive damage. No guards were injured. A spokeswoman with the Colorado corrections department says the melee began in a recreation yard at the Crowley County Correctional Facility last night. The disturbance quickly grew to several hundred inmates before being quashed about five hours later. More than 100 corrections officers and emergency response personnel from five state prisons were deployed to the scene. Officials are investigating whether the riot was gang-related.
