Cooked chicken recalled

Nearly 37-thousand pounds of cooked chicken is being recalled by a Georgia company because of possible listeria contamination. The Agriculture Department says the chicken was produced July 13th and distributed to warehouses in Georgia and Arkansas. The recall by KD Acquisitions-One of Braselton covers several products.

They include the 14-pound boxes of "Tyson, Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Filet Fritters with Rib Meat" -- and 20-pound boxes of "Spare Time, Fully Cooked, Chicken Breast Fillet Fritters with Rib Meat" Also being recalled are 12-pound boxes of "America's Choice, Fully Cooked, Breaded Seasoned Chicken Nuggets." Those were distributed to grocery stores in Maryland and New York. The government says there have been no reports of illness from the tainted chicken.
