Fighter jets collide in Oregon, killing two
An Oregon doctor says "it's very amazing" that a reservist survived the collision of two military jets with no broken bones, no abrasions. But two other reservists were killed when the fighter jets collided during a training exercise Wednesday. The jets, both F-18's, collided over the Columbia River, about 120 miles east of Portland. Debris from the jets was scattered for miles. One witness said the accident sounded like a supersonic boom.
