CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
Cincinnati City Council honored two men on Wednesday who intervened in a downtown robbery on New Year's Eve.
Councilmember Chris Seelbach presented a resolution to David Hale and Chad McClain for their heroic actions.
Hale had been homeless and McClain is currently homeless, both of whom are military veterans.
Hale and McClain were nearby when they saw a person being robbed at Central Parkway and Vine Street, and said it was just instinct to jump into action.
Surveillance video on a nearby building caught the suspect attacking the victim, and then two men witnesses the attack and coming to his aid.
Seelbach is currently working with both men to help them find employment and housing.
