Woman arrested in connection with two heroin overdose deaths

SUMMIT COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

A 29-year-old Coventry Township woman arrested in connection with two Heroin overdose deaths.

Danielle Hoover was arrested on two counts of Involuntary Manslaughter, two counts of Corrupting another with Drugs and Tampering with Evidence. 

In September of 2009, Richard Davis was found dead in his Coventry Township residence. A report from the Medical Examiner listed the cause of death was a Heroin overdose. An investigation into the death revealed that Hoover was present prior to, or during, the death of Richard Davis.

In December of 2012, Roland Harmon was found deceased at Steve's Motel in the City of Green. According the Medical Examiner's Office, the cause of Harmon's death was a Heroin overdose. Through an investigation into the death, Sheriff's Detectives determined that Hoover was with the victim prior to, or during, his death.

The subsequent investigation revealed similarities between both cases in regards to the manner of death, the source of the narcotics, and the actions of Hoover during and after the incidents.

Hoover is currently jailed in Summit County
