CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Freestore Foodbank received a generous donation from one of Cincinnati's favorite pizzerias.

LaRosa's Founder and Chairman, Buddy LaRosa, and CEO Michael LaRosa presented a check to the Freestore, totaling $34,000 on Thursday.

'Feed Our Neighbors in Need: Buy a Buddy Card and Help' program raised money throughout the holiday season through the sale of Buddy Cards, which includes a free large cheese pizza with the purchase of any large pizza, good for 14 different uses throughout the year.

Beginning on Black Friday, for every $10 card purchased, $5 was donated to the Freestore.

The check was presented at the Freestore Foodbank's Distinguished Speaker Series and Annual Meeting.
