TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
A man is in jail tonight after police say he attempted to break into a home near Jackman and Alexis Roads in West Toledo.
They say Timothy McCormick tried to break into the home this weekend.
Unfortunately for him, the owner of the home was an off-duty police officer who was home at the time.
Although the man tried to get away, he was stopped and arrested by the homeowner.
He is currently locked up at the Lucas County Jail.
