TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The man whom police say led them on a wild chase across south Toledo appeared in court Thursday morning.

Police say Scott Gorsuch, 32, drove away from a traffic stop early Wednesday morning and led police on a chase, hitting patrol cars, driving over curbs, through yards, and crashing into a home.

The chase only lasted 10 to 15 minutes, but Gorsuch was arrested for fleeing and eluding, felonious assault on a police officer, vandalism, criminal damaging, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and three traffic violations.

Gorsuch is locked up on an $85,000 bond despite his request to get out on bond so he could go to work. The judge said that was not appropriate given the circumstances.

An officer was injured in the chase. No one in the home was injured.
