A west Nashville man was shocked by a stun gun Monday night after neighbors said he was "naked and acting crazy," according to police.
Police said they were called to a complex on Louisiana Avenue around 10:45 p.m.
When they arrived, police said Xavier A. Christmon, 21, started threatening them and tried shutting them out of one of the apartments.
Officers told him to get dressed but he refused and came at them in an "aggressive manner."
Police stunned Christmon twice but said he "wanted to eat" the officer.
The man admitted to taking Xanax, the drug MDMA, marijuana and ecstasy.
A paramedic arrived and gave Christmon a shot to calm him down. He faces charges of assaulting an officer and was transported to General Hospital.
