$12K Rolex stolen from Belle Meade jewelry store

Two thieves on Wednesday stole a $12,000 watch from a Belle Meade jeweler.

It took the men only minutes to steal the valuable watch at Belle Meade Jewelry and Repair.

Surveillance video shows an employee take out a necklace, but he doesn't re-lock the case.

That's when one man waves his hand and another person snatches a valuable Rolex from the case.

"It was our fault. We left the case unlocked, and they saw the opportunity and took it," said store owner Scott Isaacs.

Isaacs said no one noticed the watch was missing until the next day.

This is not the first time thieves have targeted this business. In 2011, two men took more than $150,000 in jewels. One of the robbers pulled a gun on an employee during that heist.
