Four injured in hit-and-run; driver on the loose

PRICE HILL (FOX19) -

An officer of the CPD attempted to pull over a Mitsubishi Galant for a traffic violation around 8:30 p.m. The driver of the car sped away but was not originally per sued by officers.

Shortly after leaving the scene, the driver of the Galant ran a red light at the intersection of Lehman Road and Grand Avenue, striking an Oldsmobile Delta 88. The Mitsubishi then struck a parked Chevy van. The driver of the Galant along with several passengers fled the scene on foot.

Four people were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. None of their injuries are considered to be serious.

Both the driver and the passengers of the Oldsmobile were all wearing seatbelts.

The identity of the Mitsubishi driver is unknown. Speed is being considered a factor in the crash.
