Florence
Police are attempting to identify this subject who allegedly used stolen credit
cards to make purchases at Best Buy, Lowe's and Meijer's.
The victim
reported that his vehicle keys were stolen from his locker at LA Fitness on
February 17, 2013 and then his wallet and credit cards were taken from his
vehicle. The charges made on the cards total approximately $8000 worth of
gift cards and cell phones. The cards have been used as far away as
Columbus.
West
Chester Police are investigating a similar incident that occurred at the LA
Fitness located in West Chester on February 15, 2013. The same subject
appears to be involved in both cases. In the West Chester incident, the
subject attempted to purchase $2000 worth of gift cards, but left without them
when he was questioned about providing identification.
In
both cases, the victims report that their locker was locked and the lock intact
when the went to retrieve their belongings from the locker.
