WESTERN HILLS, OH (FOX19) -
A man who is accused of abducting a woman in Green Township was in court on Wednesday.
Police say that a woman was abducted at the Four Seasons Car Wash on the corner of Glenway Avenue and Bridgetown Road on Monday afternoon.
Jeffery Darling, Jr., 21 of Cincinnati, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with Aggravated Robbery and Kidnapping which are both constituted as felonies. His bond was set at $50,000.
Police say Darling approached the woman and ordered her into his vehicle. He told the woman to drive him to a nearby ATM and told her he had a gun.
The woman drove the man to a Kroger on Glenway Avenue where she withdrew money for the man. After giving him the money, the woman drove the suspect to Belden Circle off of Werk Road.
Darling fled the scene with the victim's cash.
The woman found a nearby on-duty officer and reported the incident. The woman was not hurt.
