HADLEY, MA (WSHM) -
Hadley Police have an unusual crime on their hands, and they say young children helped make it happen. Hadley patrolman Mitchell Kuc says their Best Buy was recently robbed by two adults, with the help of three young children.
According to witnesses, a single child entered the Hadley Best Buy, then grabbed several electronic items and put them in a single spot within the store.
Kuc says the two adult suspects then entered the store with two younger children, who then ran around and distracted store employees as the adults put the items in a stroller and left.
Kuc says the couple may have stolen several thousand dollars worth of electronic items. Police say they drove away in a gray vehicle, possibly a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry.
Anyone with information is asked to call Hadley Police at (413) 584-0883.
