Parma firefighters pull car from ravine

Parma Firefighters responded to a car down a ravine after 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

The incident happened on Center Drive near Parkview in a park.

Firefighters say the driver lost control, crashed through a park, a fence and then went over a cliff and fell 30 feet down a ravine.

The occupants of the car fled into the woods, but were located a short time later by Parma Police.

Both males were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.

A third male, who was standing on the basketball court at the time of the incident, was struck by debris during the crash and was also transported to MetroHealth Medical Center with minor injuries.
