Cambell Co. Clerk honored for lifetime of service

A retiring Campbell County clerk was recognized for his lifetime of civic leadership and service.

Kids Voting Northern Kentucky presented its highest honor to Campbell Co. Clerk Jack Snodgrass at a luncheon on Tuesday. 'The Kids Voting Northern Kentucky Civic Leadership Award' is given to a resident of Boone, Campbell or Kenton County for exemplary leadership in the public arena.

Snodgrass is in his final year in office before he plans to retire. The event celebrated his service to the Northern Kentucky community.

"Jack is a longtime friend and supporter of Kids Voting Northern Kentucky. He has been an advocate and ambassador for our mission of civic literacy and engagement. Jack is a shining example of public and civic service for the students we will honor and beyond," said Carri Chandler, chairperson for the annual luncheon.

The event was also a fundraiser for the Kids Voting Northern Kentucky organization, a non-profit that teaches young people the importance of voting.

The luncheon was held at the Radisson Hotel in Covington.
