Two winning lottery tickets sold in West Point and Willisburg KY - Cincinnati News, Weather, Sports from FOX19 NOW-WXIX

Kentucky wins big in Powerball drawing

While no one hit the $183 million Powerball jackpot on Wednesday, a Kentucky player did win a nice chunk of "change"!

The winning ticket was sold at the West Point BP at 204 S. 4th Street.

The winning numbers are 5-9-28-38-38; Powerball 29. The ticket matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball to win the game's second prize of $1 million.

Players are urged to their tickets immediately and sign the back if they have the winning numbers. The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The jackpot prize is now up to estimated $216 million with a cash option amount of $132.8 million for the drawing on Saturday.

West Point BP will receive $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.

Another winning ticket worth $200,000 was also sold at the E-Z Shop in Willisburg, KY.
