WASHINGTON (HOUSE TV/CNN) - The Republican-controlled House passed Paul Ryan's proposed budget Thursday by a 221-207 vote.
Ryan's budget would cut more than $4.5 trillion in spending and eliminate the deficit over 10 years.
It would also repeal the President's healthcare law and overhaul Medicare.
The budget was passed largely along party lines, though 10 Republicans did vote against it.
Ryan's proposal isn't believed to have any chance of clearing the Democratic-controlled Senate.
