Liquid pot, solid hash, and 8 pounds of old fashioned weed

ELYRIA, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A man from Pennsylvania is facing felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized hydroponic marijuana, solid and oil marijuana hash worth approximately $38,000 during a traffic stop on the Ohio Turnpike.

Troopers stopped a 1999 Buick with Pennsylvania registration for a marked lanes violation on the Ohio Turnpike near milepost 133 in Lorain County at 4:33 p.m. Wednesday. Criminal indicators were observed and a Patrol drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle.

A probable cause search revealed 8 pounds of hydroponic marijuana, 1 pound of oil marijuana hash, and 140 grams of solid marijuana hash.

The driver, James Rabuck, 42, of Middletown, PA, was incarcerated in the Lorain County Jail. He has been charged with possession of liquid marijuana hash, which is a second-degree felony. Additionally, he has been charged with possession of marijuana and solid marijuana hash, as well as aggravated trafficking in drugs, which are third-degree felonies.

If convicted he could face up to 23 years in prison and up to a $45,000 fine.
