DAYTON, KY (FOX19) - Fire crews were called to the scene of a fire in Dayton, Kentucky on Saturday morning.
The fire broke out on the 1100 block of Seventh Avenue in Campbell County around 10:50 a.m.
The Bellevue-Dayton Fire Department arrived at the scene to find fire blowing out of the windows of a vacant home.
The fire caused heavy damage to the house. The fire burnt through the floor of the building and into the basement. The roof also sustained heavy damage.
The home was vacant at the time and boarded up. Officials say that the utilities to the house were also shut off.
It is unclear at this point what caused the fire. FOX19 will continue to update the story as more details become available.
