HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced that an OVI checkpoint will be held on Saturday in Hamilton County.
The checkpoint will be held Saturday evening at 10:00 p.m. on Harrison Avenue near Kilby Road.
The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. The checkpoint will be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes.
Police are reminding individuals who plan on consuming alcohol to find a designated driver or make other travel arrangements before drinking.
