Couple killed when motorcycle collides with van

A Cincinnati couple is dead in a traffic accident in Liberty, Kentucky. Kentucky state police say 44-year-old Larry Lay and his wife, 33-year-old Denise Lay, died when their motorcycle hit the passenger side fender of a van at 11:50 a-m yesterday. Police say the couple were riding northbound on U-S 127 when they encountered the southbound van at a curve in the highway. Both vehicles swerved into the same path in an attempt to avoid a collision. Denise Lay was pronounced dead at the scene. Larry Lay, who was driving the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at a hospital. Two people in the van were not injured.
