A local doctor is working to promote healthy lifestyles for teenagers.
Dr. William Barrett works at University Medical Center, serving as medical director of the Barrett Cancer Center.
On Wednesday, he spoke with students at Walnut Hills High School about the science of cancer.
Over the past three years, Doctor Barrett and a team of doctors have been speaking to high school students in the Tri-State to discourage tobacco use and encourage healthy lifestyles.
The panel walked students through a day in the life of a cancer doctor, also touching on careers in medicine and cancer prevention.
