HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - Emergency crews responded to an injury accident in Hebron on Thursday morning.
It happened just before 6 a.m. at near the intersection of Langley Drive and Ky. 237 (North Bend Road).
The Boone County Sheriff's Office says Marie Kouadjane, 20 of Cincinnati, Ohio was making a left turn from Langley Drive to northbound North Bend Road in a Hyundai Accent when she was struck by a southbound Buick Century driven by Joshua McCarthy, 32 of Burlington, Kentucky.
The impact caused the Buick to veer left and collide with a Toyota Corolla stopped in the left turn lane from northbound North Bend Road to Langley Drive operated by Fahah Hassan, 50 of Columbus, Ohio.
A passenger in the Hyundai, Matthew Powell, 20 of Cincinnati, Ohio, was injured and transported. His condition is unknown.
Preliminary indications are that Kouadjane failed to yield the right-of-way to McCarthy.
Traffic was re-routed down Langley Drive until tow trucks cleared the scene.
