(Toledo News Now) -

The Dundee Police Department arrested a man  earlier this week on two counts of criminal sexual conduct second degree with a person under the age of 13.

Police say the incident occurred in Dundee, MI, but the suspect, 52-year-old Samuel Savett, was arrested in another state.

With the help of several tips, officers were able to track Savett down to an address in Lakeland, Florida.

The Monroe County Prosecutor's Office issued extradition paperwork, and with the help of the Lakeland Police Department, Savett was taken into custody without incident.

On Wednesday, Savett was extradited to Michigan and booked in the Monroe County Jail.

On Thursday, Savett was arraigned and issued a $100,000 cash bond.
