Easter showers lead to Opening Day cold front

Easter showers lead to Opening Day cold front

(FOX19) - Look for mostly sunny skies Saturday afternoon, with temperatures climbing into the upper 50s and low 60s.

Unfortunately, Saturday will be the last of the nice, mild days as a rain maker is expected to move in tomorrow.

Clouds will increase Saturday evening, and showers will arrive for early Easter Sunday. Bring the umbrella to church services, you'll need it!

Showers will remain scattered for the early afternoon before tapering off. Highs tomorrow will top off in the upper 50s.

A secondary cold front will push through early Monday, bringing a cold shot of air to the tristate.

This will keep Opening Day festivities cold, cloudy and a bit breezy.

Watch for a slight chance of a rain/snow shower before noon. By the afternoon, shower chances will taper off, but skies will remain cloudy.

Bundle up for Opening Day!
