TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
Toledo police are looking for two men they say need to be off the streets tonight. Both are wanted for domestic violence and said to be very dangerous.
Police have been hunting for Larry Franco Jr. and Willie Harris for the past few days. Police want the search to come to an end, but they need the public's help.
"They're exceptionally violent," said Sgt. Tim Noble. "The victims in this case are very legitimately fearful, and we would like to take them off the street."
Police want to arrest the two for domestic violence incidents.
"The investigators, and the people involved in these cases, have notified us that these two people are particularly violent, and they want them apprehended," said Noble.
According to police, Harris has had several run-ins with Toledo Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit. However, it was open warrants out of Sylvania Court for felony escape, domestic violence, and harassment that had officials ask TPD for help.
Police also say Franco has a violent laundry list of offenses in Toledo, stemming from the end of March.
"He held a female friend of his against her will. He's got warrants for abduction, kidnapping, for robbery, and domestic violence and assault," said Noble.
Police say Franco did this to the mother of his child, and they are concerned for what he could do again.
"Our community, you know, we've got a very good CrimeStopper program. We've got a lot of people in the community that don't like thugs running around and they will call us, and that's why we're so successful," said Noble.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Willie Harris or Larry Franco Jr. should call CrimeStoppers at 419-255-1111.
