Four teens taken to hospital after Butler Co. accident


Four teens were taken to the hospital after an overnight crash in Butler County.

Police say the accident happened just after midnight on 1100 block of Somerville Jacksonburg Road in Milford Township.

Reports indicate that Cody Wallen, 19, was driving his Chevy pickup westbound on State Route 744 when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver over-corrected and his vehicle went off the left side of the roadway in a rollover crash.

Wallen was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Atrium Hospital in Middletown. He was later transported by Care Flight to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

A passenger, 18-year-old Timothy Isaac Jr., was also ejected from the vehicle. Isaac was transported by Air-Care to University Hospital.

Passengers Donald Ellis, III, 15,  and Brannon McDaniel, 16, were both transported to McCullough-Hyde Hospital in Oxford.  

No word has been given on the extent of the injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
