Indians shut out again

Trevor Bauer did not pitch well and the offense did not hit well as Tampa Bay cruised past the Indians 6-0. Bauer walked the first four batters of the game, he finished with a total of seven.

His defense bailed him out by throwing out two runners at the plate. Ryan Raburn ended the first inning by throwing out Matt Joyce when he attempted to tag up on a fly ball to right field. In the third inning Joyce bounced a ball to third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall with a runner at third. Desmond Jennings tried to score on the play, but Chisenhall threw to the plate and Lou Marson held on after being run over by Jennings. Marson later had to leave the game because of the hit.

The Indians will send Justin Masterson to the mound on Sunday to try and avoid being swept.
